Breakfast at Trio is one of the highlights of our Sydney trip! It was so memorable and extraordinary! As what their website said Trio thrives on “creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere”, we could truly feel the warm ambience in this popular cafe at Bondi Beach. Their dishes were inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cusines, we were so interested to try everything! Guess what? They do have a dish which includes everything (well… “most things” to be exact) – Trio Breakfast Tasting Plate ($29). I never had a breakfast tasting plate so even though the price looked a bit expensive we still decided to go ahead! The Trio Breakfast Taste Plate actually came in “two plates”, each had 3 little portions of their brekky menu items. They did look really impressive and we couldn’t wait to try them all!
Bircher Muesli with Fresh Fruit and Yoghurt
Mango and Lime Buttermilk Pancakes served with Strawberries, Lemon Curd and Double Cream
Cinnamon and Vanilla Scented French Toast served with Raspberry and Apple Compte and Warm Maple Syrup
Shakshouka – two eggs poached in a smoky tomato ragout served in a pan with turkish bread and hummus; and corn fritters with smoky tomato chutney, bacon, goat’s cheese and roquette.
We also had a traditional Scrambled Eggs on Turkish Bread for Little Monster.
Lastly we had some coffee and a babycino. It was a really great dining experience! We would certainly come back again in the future🙂
