Zumbo’s The Lab is our Top Number 1 favourite in Sydney. It’s a very tiny cafe with only 9 bar stools but we love having a cup of coffee and some macarons while we enjoy watching the chefs preparing the delicate desserts through the glass windows.

Our favourites are their Muffins, surprisingly they were even better than the signature macarons (we ended up packing a few back to Brissy)! Mr F loves Zumbo’s brownie, we made this ourselves using the “homemade instant mix” for a few times already, Mr F first tried their brownie from this shop a few years ago and he gave it 10 out of 10, but this time he said it has lost the “wow factor”, may be because the homemade ones are close enough?

And of course we bought lots of macarons as souvenirs!
