Today is my boss’ birthday and she is a German so I was looking for a German Bakery to get her a birthday cake! Look where I found! King of Cakes specialises in authentic German and European cakes!
I arrived on Friday morning and the shop is already full of people waiting in the line, on one side is the display of all the baked items, the other side is the Coffee and Bullshit Area (haha), and the other corner is a Tarot Card Reading area (wooh!).
It didn’t take me to long choose the perfect birthday cake, Death by Chocolate, a rich dark chocolate mud cake filled with chocolate ganache and slightly soaked with vanilla syrup coated in dark chocolate. My boss loved the chocolate flower, the cake was delicious, not overly sweet but very creamy and rich in chocolate!
