Mixed reviews about Swampdog on the internet? Certainly it’s not an average Fish & Chips shop at South Bank, but does it worth a visit? I think it does. At least the homemade lemonade is awesome! This funky F&C shop received the Sustainability Award in 2012 from Queensland Good Food Guide, the menu features all the local favourites such as whiting, barramundi.
Mr F and I both chose the Barramundi with Chips, one crumbed and one battered. Both crumbed and battered fish are a bit dried to our liking, we saw other people having the Grilled Barramundi with Pesto and it looks very juicy. Our chips are very nice and the salad is very fresh too!
Hm… does it worth a second trip? Mr F said he prefers Surf Club’s F&C more but I like the concept of being sustainable and environmental friendly…
