So excited blogging another breakfast cafe in Brisbane! I heard about Comfort at My Table for quite some time but we always had something to do somewhere to go on Saturday and didn’t end up visiting until now! Mr F said this is by far the best brekky he had in Brisbane! We arrived on a Saturday morning 10am and it was already jam packed (both inside and outside), luckily the lovely waiter said we could just wait at the shade and when a table is ready he’ll just call our name (and of course next time we’re going to ring and reserve a table).
The indoor sitting is so lovely and cosy! No wonder it’s called Comfort at My Table
To start the morning we ordered a Skinny Cap and a Skinny Latte, with each coffee cup it comes with a special teaspoon which must be a collection of the owners? Mine is a silver spoon from Big Banana and I think Mr F’s one is from Canberra…
Mr F ordered the One Pan Fry Up which has cheese kransky, bacon, roasted chats, thyme mushrooms, fried egg, spinach, farmhouse chutney, seeded mustard and a toasted rye on the side ($16.80). Believe it or not! It’s a great great great brekky we had for quite some time! Not saying the other cafes not doing good brekky, but just the flavour of this One Pan Fry Up is spot on!
Little Monster loves banana and toast so I ordered a French Toast with banana, poached blackberries and housemade ricotta toasted with flaked almonds ($12.80), and of course if you are American you would like to add some bacons for an extra $4.
